Free Movies on Apps

In my travels online and on the app stores. I came across free movies that you can watch anywhere on your phone or tablet (need wifi or service to stream them) First is Disney Movies Anywhere app. If you sign up for a free account with them, you get Wreck It Ralph for free to stream anywhere. You do not have to download the movie. Also Yuri will get the movie free in your Play movie  and Apple Video app. The second free videos is on the   Ultra Violet (www.uvvu.com) the free movies are Matchstick Men,  Space Jam, and The Bodyguard. You can stream these movies on the Flixster app.                                                                                                                H...

New blog name

I have decided to share all my knowledge of being at mom in Baltimore area on a budget. I'm changing my blog name to Parkville Mom. I'll give advice on great and cheap places to kids, great deals at stores, and awesome products that I've learned about. The blog is getting a new look, and I will also have guest bloggers posting. I hope to be able to post everyday. I'll also have great info for Christian moms.       Have a great day,       Parkville Mom       Steph

Amazing Summer

Image
This was a great summer. I didn't get to take Gabe to ocean city like I wanted to but, we did discover alot of awesome playgrounds. Today is my birthday, and I'm going to celebrate with the one person I love the most. Hopefully this fall I will be able to keep up on my blogs better. Hope everyone had a enjoyable summer. I'm now going to ask a question at every blog. Either for a opinion or memory. What was your favorite moment this summer??

Taking a break

Mothers day thoughts

I write about being a mom on here and the struggles that comes with it. What its like sometimes raising a very hyper loving toddler. But I feel I need to get this off my chest because today is a very hard day for me. Some people that are close to me would know why. Growing up I had a mom but not what you would call a real mom. Never taught me how to cook, didn't show me how to put on makeup, and never spent mother and daughter time together. She would spend it with someone else that wasn't her daughter. Which is really rough for a kid cause it always had me asking myself what did i do wrong. No one should be asking themselves that as a young kid. Before Gabe was born this day was always hard on me, I would try to act as though it wasn't a holiday. Being raised by someone who emotionally and physically beat you is hard to deal with sometimes. Especially when she puts on a fake show that she is nice infront of people. When your brother and sister did't get treated like yo...

Great Playground

Image
I would like to wish a early happy mothers day to all the moms that read this blog. This previous week we went to a playground thats on ebenezer off of rt 40. Gabe loves this playground because of the huge slide!! Its a tall tube slide. There is two playgrounds, one for older kids and another for tots. A climbing wall.  Theres also a path that you can go hiking down that he loves. ITs a wooded path that has a little pond, and nice scenery. There's also large field if you want to play sports with your kid. Unfornately I can't find the address but if you take rt 40 towards joppatowne and take a left on ebenezer rd you should see the playground on your right after you go over 95 on the bridge. I put a red dot on the map where the location is.

Celebrating Spring

Image
I know the first day of spring has come and gone but today was officially shorts weather.  Tomorrow I'm taking Gabe clothes shopping.  He grew out of his 2t's like they were nothing. Can't wait to start taking him out on long hikes. This is going to be a fun and very eventful.  Enjoying everyday like it's my last!♥

Update

I have been so busy with taking care of Gabe that I have forgot to write in my blogs. Somethings have changed, I'm happy to report that Gabe is no longer using his pacifers, he's learning how to use the big boy potty and learning how to drink from regular cups. I  came across a blog by someone also in baltimore county, about playgrounds in Maryland. So everytime Gabe and I find a new one or visit a different one i will be posting about it. We went to the Orogen  Ridge playground. I have to say this rates A on my list. The ground is very rubbery which makes it safe for when kids fall. Gabe has fallen a couple of times, even on a ledge.
