Work and learning

Image
We are so blessed that Chris got the job. He started Monday and works 10 to 11 hour days. It has been hard on both of us unfortunately but we will get use to the schedule we are on soon, hopefully two weeks or sooner. But we are so very proud of him, I'm finally get the full roll of fulltime mom and wife. I take care of the house, the cleaning, taking care of Gabe and other stuff while he works. The only time he has to watch Gabe is when I have to go to bible study on Wednesday's night. That's only for one to one and a half hours. I'm still learning how to clean and watch Gabe at the same time but like I said I will get into the rhythm of things soon. I think that Gabe and I will become closer in the end, today was better than yesterday, he was all smiles today with me. Yesterday he got into everything and kept crying. Any who, today while I was making my run to Target, I found a excellent toy for Gabe that I recommend to anyone. He has a hard time talking, my dad tol...

Weber's Farm

Image
Yesterday Gabe and I went to Weber's Farm to have a day out of the house. It was nice out not to hot or not to cold. Cool enough though to wear our long sleeve shirts. We had a great time, went on the hay ride, he held on to me tightly cause he's still a little shy of people. After that we went to see the animals, they don't have a very big selection but with Gabe I don't think he really cared. They have turkey's, rabbits, goats, chickens, sheep, ducks , geese and a rooster. He got licked by the little baby billy goat which was really adorable. We went through a little bit of the hay maze, I really don't think he cared to much for it. Next we went down the big slide together which is on a big slopping hill. They have a little area that he enjoyed with little tractors and tricycles that kids can peddle around, poor little guy tried his best but he couldn't reach the peddles. They have a smaller tractor ride for little kids but by the time we got there it...

Image
So after looking on Baltimore mommies.com I came across a members posting. She also has a blog website on blogger. Hers is about he family and what they do. I thought that would be a excellent idea. So I'm changing my theme so that it can be about what goes on in our little family.I'm so excited. My first post with pictures will be tonite. So we can share our adventures with you
Once again I've guessed myself short of posting everyday. Unfortunately tragic events has happen that is why I haven't been able to post on my page. I really don't want to explain them because I have promised myself to keep certain things in my life private from this page. All I can say is a good man has unfortunately a good man has lost his life. Today I'm going to give some good links of children's websites you should visit or get daily email's from. 1. baltimoremommies.com a great place to meet mom's in your area and get great ideas for places to take your kid or kids, also they make plans for group gatherings. 2. whattoexpect.com you get daily emails everyday on tips for your child, its age based to so you wont have anything that's for younger or older than your child's age. 3. disneyjunior.com my son loves jack and the neverland pirates, henry hugglemonter ,chugginton, and  mickeys mouse clubhouse you can watch new videos and play ga...

Day of Rememberance

Sorry for taking so long to post, I've been a little busy with my son and trying to find a new job. Yesterday we remembered the brave men and women who gave there lives running into the burning buildings of the world trade centers, and pentagon. Also the brave souls who lose there lives in the buildings and the plane that went down in Pennsylvania. My question is though, how come we do not have a observation day for this tragic day yet? We close schools and government buildings for other holidays to remember lives lost on memorial, veterans day and labor day. We even have holidays for presidents and Martin Luther King. (don't get me wrong I think they are totally justified). But what about those unsung heroes. Like firefighters who leave there families every night and day to go out into the field to risk there lives running into the burning buildings not knowing if this will be there last call. What about the policemen who don't know if there kissing there loved ones...

He day before his travel

I know its been aa bit since I've blogged. So here's a quick catch up. Chris and I are still married. Gabes walking and talking now (somewhat). Gabe now helps me puts his diapers and shorts now, he steps into them. Unfornatley I have givin up on trying to groom, I'm just not cut out for it anymore. Chris has finished scholl. His last day was last Friday. So I have decided to focus on just being a mom and a wife, think I'm made more to be a home maker. Anyways my dad iseaving for two weeks to go to hawaii and california. Today we have to go grocery shopping, to have enough food for two weeks. I'm inbetween wegmans and bjs. Though I'm pretty sure I'll go to both.  That's all I have on my mind today. Everyone have a pleasant day.
Sorry to anyone who reads my blog. Sometimes its hard to get a chance to use the computer in my house (husbands a game junkie). It's real early in the morning so I thought I would post something at least. Gabe is doing good, he's such a great child. I couldn't ask for a better son. He loves getting into trouble but I know that's what boy's love to do. He's not quite walking yet, he will when holding onto stuff but he's still afraid to let go. He's really fast at crawling. He's really smart, if I explain to him what im doing when he wants me, he patiently waits. If you nicely tell him no he listens, I rarely have to use to intimidating voice. As far as opening my own business goes, I'm very happy to say that I'm doing a grooming job tomorrow morning. I know its going to take time for me to be able to open a small shop in my basement but stuff takes time. After the incident with "hair off the dog" which by the way I wouldn't...
This is my first time posting a real blog post so please be patient. Im not really going to give the specifics of where I live all that I will say is I'm married, my husbands name is Chris. I have a almost one year old son named Gabriel. Now that the holidays are over, I have thought over my new years resolution... I've came up with a new me! Nothing snazzy like dressing up or weight loss (god knows I've tried way to many times). But more like financially, actually put more effort into my job( I'm starting a business , kind of on my own). Also just trying to be a better Christian and not judge others... like this woman who I was on the phone with today. Not going to get into that. Unfornately its very late, and I really need to get some sleep so im going to bed. Goodnite
